Get Yourself Out Of The Way
Get yourself out of the way and let yourself go beyond your own Ideolatry.
Open yourself up to the possibility that the One who created you has a complete, fulfilling, and satisfying plan for your life, a plan that is rich and fruitful and provides you with everything you need to love yourself and those around you. God continues to reach out His hand to you to ensure your success. You can love God because He loved you first! We see this explained in 1 John 4:18-21.
1 John 4:18-21(ERV)
Where God’s love is, there is no fear, because God’s perfect love takes away fear.
It is his punishment that makes a person fear.
So his love is not made perfect in the one who has fear.
We love because God first loved us.
If we say we love God but hate any of our brothers or sisters in his family, we are liars.
If we don’t love someone we have seen, how can we love God?
We have never even seen him.
God gave us this command:
If we love God, we must also love each other as brothers and sisters.
He has made the first move by providing Jesus for you. It is up to you to build up your faith on that fact. Meditate on it continually and let the promises of His Word penetrate deep into your heart. Speak out about your faith in God and see your life recreated in line with His word. Dare to trust that the character and nature of God is to do only good on your behalf. Believe that He provided Jesus Christ so you can abundantly enjoy the life that He has offered you, both in this life and the life that is to come!
